Our Story
Built for Singapore's Precision Industry
Lumen Future was founded on a straightforward observation: Singapore’s precision manufacturing sector was being underserved by suppliers who either lacked the right equipment, couldn’t hold tight tolerances consistently, or required customers to manage multiple vendors for what should have been a single job.
We built our facility at Ubi Tech Park with a clear mandate:
every common fabrication step — cutting, bending, welding, finishing, and marking — under one roof, operated by engineers who understand the application, not just the machine.
Over 20 years, we have grown from a laser cutting shop to a full-service precision processing facility serving customers across semiconductor equipment, offshore engineering, medical device manufacturing, industrial automation, and architectural metalwork.
Today, more than 3,000 completed projects and 100+ active customers trust us with parts that cannot be wrong — parts where a tolerance failure, a surface defect, or a late delivery has real downstream consequences.

Three principles that guide every decision — from how we review drawings to how we handle a part that doesn’t meet spec.
Engineering Honesty
If a drawing has a problem, we tell you before we cut it — not after. If a job is beyond our capability, we say so. We would rather decline a job honestly than deliver a part that doesn't meet your requirements. DFM review is not a formality; it's our first quality gate.
Delivery Commitment
Every quote includes a confirmed delivery date — not an estimate. If something changes during production that affects that date, we contact you the same day. We do not silently extend lead times and apologise after the deadline passes. Your production schedule matters.
One Supplier, Full Accountability
When cutting, bending, welding, and finishing are spread across multiple suppliers, accountability disappears at every handoff. We handle all steps in-house so there is one job order, one delivery, one point of contact, and one party accountable for the finished result.

Singapore-Based Engineering Team
Same timezone, same language, same business culture. No translation delays, no 12-hour response gaps. When you need to discuss a change or flag a problem, you talk to an engineer who knows your job — not a sales intermediary.

Three Laser Wavelengths In-House
Fibre (1064 nm) for metals and reflective alloys. CO₂ (10.6 μm) for glass, acrylic, and non-metals. UV (355 nm) for PI film and fine-pitch FPC. Most facilities have one. We have all three — and the process knowledge to match each to the right material.

No Minimum Order Quantity
We cut one part with the same care as a batch of 1,000. Single prototypes are common — 40% of our jobs are fewer than 10 pieces. Tooling-free laser cutting means there's no economic penalty for small quantities the way there is with stamping or die-cutting.

Full Traceability for Regulated Industries
Lot-level traceability, material cert documentation, first-article inspection reports, and QA documentation packages that pass semiconductor, marine, and medical audits. We build the paperwork because the part alone isn't enough for regulated procurement.

20+ Years of Singapore Production History
Our material parameters, process recipes, and production data reflect 20+ years of running these machines on Singapore jobs — not textbook starting points. The springback compensation for 316L stainless at 2 mm is built from thousands of real production bends, not a spreadsheet formula.

Cut, Bend, Weld, Finish — One Facility
Everything is in-house. Flat blanks become finished assemblies without leaving the building. No inter-supplier dimensional variation. No re-quoting at each step. One purchase order, one delivery, one invoice. This is what "full-service" actually means.
